Consulting And Assessments For Buyers and Sellers
Whether you're thinking of buying a used piano, or selling the piano that has been collecting dust in your home for years, you want to make sure you know what you're getting yourself into. In those situations, the following questions often come to mind:
How do I know if this is a good piano?
Is it in need of repairs, or does it just need to be tuned?
If it needs repair work, how much would that cost?

If you would like to know exactly what you are getting for your money, then a purchase consultation is perfect for you.
For Piano Buyers
Once you find a piano that you are considering for purchase, an appointment can be made for the piano to be visited and assessed at its location. You will then be informed of the age of the piano, its build quality, and whether any repairs are needed. If the piano is in need of repair work, an estimate can be provided. Having a qualified piano technician at your side will give you 'buyer's confidence', as you will then be able to determine if the seller's price is reasonable for you, and if the piano suits your needs.
For Piano Sellers
If you are looking to sell your piano, then you should be able to answer questions from potential buyers about the piano's age, current condition, etc. If the piano is in excellent condition, you should be able to say so with confidence. If the piano is in need of any repairs, you want to be able to inform your buyer whether the repairs are major or minor. All of this information can be provided to you after a 30-minute assessment of the piano. You may also want the opportunity to increase the value of your piano by having the repairs completed and having the piano cleaned before selling it.
